Banquet at the Beach is a unique dining experience in an iconic location. For one night only, the South Pacific becomes your backdrop to a rare combination of flavour, connection and community. Four courses crafted from the finest produce of the Sapphire Coast and Bega Valley, shared where ocean and sky meet.

Meet your chef

david arens

David has built a career in Australia and Europe on championing fresh, seasonal produce, from award‑winning restaurants to intimate regional kitchens.

For Banquet at the Beach, he’s creating a menu that celebrates the Bega Valley and Sapphire Coast in every bite.

Marrying technique with simplicity, David Arens lets the produce lead the story.

Tucked behind the Oaklands Barn complex on the Princes Highway at Pambula, Waratah Chocolate is a genuinely-local gem. Every bar, freckle and chunk of rocky road is finished in their own tempering machine and moulds.

The moment fish come off the trawler, they’re moved directly into South Coast Fish’s chilled processing and storage facility, literally across the road from the dock.
